Through her
company Expressive Ink communications, Christine is an
author, speaker and communications consultant on projects
that uplift women and promote a better society through
delayed gratification. Of all the child care tips and
advice out there, she believes that teaching young children
patience is the single biggest thing you can do to affect
their success in school, their sense of responsibility
and outlook on life. But before we can teach it,
we have to live it.
Christine has been featured in national publications including
Parents, Redbook, and Woman’s World. She is a Go-To
Mom columnist on Behavior and Discipline for ClubMom.com,
a member-based resource for more than 25 million moms nationwide.
Her children’s book, “Green Yellow Go! Nat
Knows Bananas” was the spark for developing concrete
tips for modeling and teaching the critical skill of
patience — with empathy, conscious choice and leadership.
A story Christine once told her daughter about a little
girl who must wait for her bananas to turn from green
to yellow, “Green Yellow Go! Nat Knows Bananas” has
become a treasured bedtime book.
Christine lives with her two daughters,
husband and yellow labrador in Minnesota. She has been
a professional journalist and communications consultant
since 1993, and spends part of her time these days promoting
professional service clients with the team of Ingenuity
Marketing Group in St. Paul, MN.
